Always like going to the Star. Great atmosphere, a proper pub. There is plenty of choice of beers to choose from. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There's plenty of space both inside and out with plenty of options to suit most people. Its proximity to the rest of Beeston is also a big plus. We would thoroughly recommend
We'd forgotten how fantastic The Star is. We were completely underwhelmed with a visit to the new pub next door, so popped into The Star. Great prices, superb range of ales and the garden is still the best place to sit with a pint in Beeston. It was a packed Friday evening. We found a table outside with ease though. People with kids, groups & couples. The atmosphere was warm & everyone was enjoying themselves. So good, we returned after a pint at The Crown. We're determined to visit regularly from now on.
Georgia is the best barmaid in Beeston. The customer service she delivers is absolutely 10/10. No complaints at all. She should have a pay rise!!! She is the GOAT.

We arrived late to meet our friends for pizza and they had already been served when we arrived, so ours were cold. I asked for mine to be reheated and it was delicious despite the extra crispiness! Great atmosphere, good selection of drinks and friendly service at the bar. Thank you

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the owner is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The location is also ideal, with easy access to local amenities and transport links. Great range of drinks and food. Plenty of seating inside and a large beer garden to the rear. Plays sports on numerous TVs and is dog friendly.
Really lovely chilled atmosphere for drinks on a Friday evening. We didn't eat on this occasion but the burgers we saw going to other tables looked amazing. Beer garden had loads of seating space and there looked to be a rather good play area for children. Second visit at lunchtime but just for a game of pool this time. Still a lovely chilled atmosphere.
We had a family reunion here with a buffet laid on and drinks. Excellent range of food, some nice bites for veggies too. The room was a good size and opened out on to the very large and well kept garden. A children's play area sits alongside lots of outdoor benches and tables - enclosed and easy to watch children from your seat. From the outside the Star Inn looks relatively small but inside it is spacious and well laid out. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
